From Apr 14 ~ May 13 CHRP re-imagines its National Tap Dance day celebration 25 years ago in this inaugural annual event. Watch the masters of percussive arts dance to the beat of their drum!

5 different companies, 5 diverse communities. Opening the Chicago Rhythm Fest is STOMPING GROUNDS, a series of free events in five distinct communities showcasing five of Chicago’s most accomplished percussive arts companies: CHRP’s resident ensemble BAM!, Ensemble Español Spanish Dance Theatre, Mexican Dance Ensemble, Muntu Dance Theatre of Chicago and Trinity Irish Dance Company. Part of a citywide celebration, this unique collaboration closes the Auditorium Theatre’s “Made in Chicago” Dance Series. Then, join us for the main event at the Auditorium Theatre of Roosevelt University on May 13th! All five companies will feature in a ground shaking performance!
