Event Details

Chicago Yacht Club will host more than 150 guests with special needs from Good Shepherd Manor, Helping Hands Rehabilitation, Misericordia and St. Mary of Providence in a parade-style cruise of 20 boats on Chicago’s lakefront. The Chicago Fire Department will bring out its boat to shoot a fountain of water off the end of Navy Pier that is circled by the guest boats creating a photo moment.
Arrangements may be made in advance to have press on the boats.

Tuesday, June 21, 2016
11:15 A.M.: Lunch is served
11:45 P.M.: Boarding process begins
12:15 P.M.: Boats depart on parade through Monroe Harbor to Adler Planetarium
1:00 P.M.: Boats arrive at Navy Pier and the fire boat will shoot its water cannon (availability pending)
