Owner Sophie Evanoff Set to Open Third Chicago Location in Early February

Sophie Evanoff, owner of Vanille, the wildly popular French-inspired artisanal patisserie, with locations in Lincoln Park and Chicago’s French Market, is excited to announce Vanille Lakeview’s official opening on February 4, 2016. Located at 3243 N. Broadway Street, the quaint space, will provide guests with an experience that emulates the authentic, yet cozy feeling of a true European café.

Vanille Lakeview’s official ribbon cutting event will be held on Thursday, February 4 at 5:30 p.m., and is by invitation only. From Friday, February 5 through Sunday, February 7, customers will have the chance to help celebrate with some special offers including a free, legendary Vanille macaron for anyone who stops by. Also, the first 25 customers through the door each of those three mornings will receive a $25 Vanille gift card for their next visit, and everyone can enter to win a $500 Vanille gift card to be given to one lucky customer.
“We are so thrilled to be expanding our roots in Chicago,” says Evanoff. “Our Lakeview store will offer all of our customer favorites, from our popular French macarons and croissants to our handmade entremets, luxurious wedding cakes, and fun Cubs cookies, but with some unique additions tailored especially for the neighborhood.”

Black and white vintage photos will line the walls of the space that will host longer hours to satisfy late-night sweet cravings. Vanille’s Lakeview location will be open from 7:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m. Sunday through Thursday and 7:00 a.m. until 10:00 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays. Lakeview will also be the place Evanoff and her talented team of classically trained pastry chefs roll out a new line of gluten-free layer cakes, and other additions to their beautifully and brightly filled display cases.
