Celebrate Chicago’s favorite holiday at Chicago’s favorite restaurant, the legendary Geja’s Café, 340 W. Armitage. This St. Patrick’s Day, Monday, March 17, Geja’s will offer diners a lucky Irish pot of green cheese fondue, complete with apples, grapes, and bread for dipping as well as their signature chocolate fondue with 4 leaf clover rice crispy treats. The restaurant will also offer $3.00 Guinness cans and special Irish drinks including the Blarney Stone (Jameson Irish Whisky, Lime Juice and Ginger Beer) and Irish Coffee (Coffee with Irish Whisky, whipped cream, green crème de menthe and a cherry) in addition to its extensive wine list.
Known for romantic fondue dining – food one prepares and shares – and an extensive list of fine, moderately priced wines, Geja’s Café features over 20 different types of fondue entrees including cheese fondue and chocolate dessert fondue. An enchanting wine cellar atmosphere, private booths, and subdued lighting contribute to its intimate surroundings. Live flamenco and classical guitarists provide romantic accompaniment.
