Created by the Garfield Park Conservatory Alliance, on Friday, March 17 from 6 p.m. to 9:30 p.m., inside Navy Pier’s Festival Hall. Co-chaired by Amy Rule and Mayor Rahm Emanuel, Evening in Bloom welcomes spring in style.
Evening in Bloom benefits Garfield Park Conservatory Alliance Pilot Light and the Illinois Restaurant Association Educational Foundation.
Guests can walk through the show’s grand gardens and find inspiration and spectacular views, food and floral fashions. Culinary creations will be provided by notable Chicago chefs, plus wine, beer and specialty cocktails.
WHAT IS FLEUROTICA?
FLEUROTICA is a signature fundraising event, created by the Garfield Park Conservatory Alliance, where the beauty and wonder of plants connects with the fun and fantasy of design creating a truly unique experience where flowers are the fashion. FLEUROTICA spotlights the unique talents of Chicago’s leading floral designers, fashion designers and landscape artists as they create breath-taking garments made entirely from plants, flowers and natural materials and taking inspiration from the Garfield Park Conservatory.
