The world's longest-running House Music event, the Chosen Few Picnic & House Music Festival, returns July 6, 2019, bringing together more than 40,000 fans in Chicago, the birthplace of House.
Event Details
Nicknamed the "Woodstock of House Music" for its family reunion vibe, the Picnic, held in historic Jackson Park, features DJ sets from the Chosen Few DJs - Wayne Williams, Jesse Saunders, Tony Hatchett, Alan King, Andre Hatchett, Terry Hunter & Mike Dunn - plus guest DJs and performers.
Now in its 29th year, the Chosen Few Picnic & Festival includes other events around Chicago, from a lunchtime dance party on Daley Plaza and Chosen Few DJs night at a Chicago White Sox game to receptions and parties before and after the Picnic.
First wave guest performers include the legendary GRAMMY-winning DJ/producer David Morales, GRAMMY-winning disco diva Thelma Houston Official, disco icon Taana Gardner, viral vibestress Lady Alma, along with Chicago House veterans Lori Branch, Mickey Calvin, Greg Gray, and Emmaculate.
