As part of the GreenLight series, Arts + Public Life presents D-Composed, a Chicago-based chamber music experience that highlights musicians and composers across the African diaspora.
Event Details
The string quartet will highlight Black composers and musicians who have made an indelible mark in Chicago or have called Chicago their creative sanctuary. Audiences will be treated to a redefined classical music experience, as D-Composed draws from jazz, pop, and blues, mixing compositions from the past with contemporary arrangements by pop culture icons.
