Event Details
For the last 174 years we have gathered in person at our Feast of the Haggis and Saint Andrew’s Day Gala – the longest running black tie dinner in Chicago, never missing a year. While we are heartbroken that for the first time in our history we can’t be under one roof– we Scots are nothing if not resilient and inventive. And we’re fond of a party…especially this party.
We invite you to wear your tartan or fanciest dress and join us virtually on Saint Andrew’s Day for the Scottish traditions we would have shared together including bagpipes, Highland dancing and even "A Feast in a Box"!
Fill your ‘virtual table’ with family and friends and we’ll send an additional "Feast in a Box" to your guests (addresses due to Chicago Scots by 11/13/20)
Award Honorees
2020 Distinguished Citizen: Peter Georgeson, Founder of Scot Forge
The Makar’s Medal: Jackie Kay, Poet Laureate of Scotland
Special Drawing
Register for the virtual Feast of the Haggis program by November 25th for a chance to receive a $100 ScotlandShop e-giftcard and a limited edition Gary Maclean “Kitchen Essentials” cookbook!
Celebrate Saint Andrews Day with "A Feast in a Box"
Enjoy a Scottish hamper with fixings to help you create your own Feast curated by the National Chef of Scotland, Gary Maclean, delivered to your door. If you can’t come to the Feast, then the Feast will come to you. The specialty ingredients can be used to prepare those recipes along with your own fresh ingredients or if you prefer can be used to add the perfect Scottish flair to a meal over the upcoming holidays. Order by November 13, 2020 at 12 pm CST to ensure delivery by November 30th
