Guests Are Invited to Participate in a Special Ugly Christmas Sweater Contest While Getting Into the Holiday Spirit at the December 16 Production

Event Details

What do you get when you combine yarn pom-poms, fleece ornaments and loads and loads of glitter? An Ugly Christmas Sweater of course! The cast of Tony n’ Tina’s Wedding, Chicago’s interactive comedy production playing at Chicago Theater Works, 1113 W. Belmont, is getting in the holiday spirit by inviting guests to their Ugly Holiday Sweater Extravaganza at 4 p.m. Saturday, December 16. Whether it is a hand-me-down from grandma or a personalized DIY, Tony and Tina encourage guests to wear their best (or worst) ugly holiday sweater to participate in an ugly sweater contest during the performance.

During this one-day special holiday production, guests will experience the classic, interactive Tony n’ Tina’s Wedding performance, from the I do’s at a real church, to the full Italian-style buffet dinner and bouquet toss. Guests will begin with the ceremony at Resurrection Church, 3309 North Seminary Ave., with a full meal and reception immediately following just one block away at Vinnie Black’s Coliseum (Chicago Theater Works), right in the heart of the Belmont Theatre District.

Tony n’ Tina’s Wedding’s regular production schedule varies, so please check www.TonyLovesTina.com for up-to-date details. Tickets for Tony n’ Tina’s Wedding are $75 for the two-part event, which includes the ceremony and reception, featuring an Italian-style buffet dinner, dancing to 80’s hits and a champagne toast. Tickets for premium seating closest to the stage and dance floor are $85. Please visit www.TonyLovesTina.com or call 312.391.0404.
