Meet the Instructor: Kristen Evans! Kristen graduated from The University of Michigan with Bachelor’s Degrees in Sports Management and Health & Fitness as well as from Gonzaga University with a Master’s Degree in Communications & Leadership and certificate in International & Intercultural Communications. While pursuing her marketing and research career with global consumer brands, she’s fed her passion for dance by rehearsing with Cincinnati Black Theater’s Nativity ensemble, Ballet Tech Cincinnati, and as a company member / teaching artist with Rize II in Chicago.
As a corporate professional and artist-athlete, Kristen’s discovered the importance of truly listening to your body. Yoga and Pilates have taught her how to relieve physical and mental stress, compression, and tightness while restoring the body for daily performance – whether in the office or in the studio. Kristen joined the LulaFit team to guide people through healthy movements that help them feel and move better. Kristen designs natural, simple, and accessible movement practices that create space and open the body. Her ultimate goal is to help people heighten their sense of body awareness so they can give their bodies what it needs to feel stable, strong, and move with ease.
