Event Details
Chicago’s top restaurants, brewers, winemakers, and mixologists provide tasting portions of locally-inspired dishes and craft beverages, with ingredients from Green City Market farmers. Enjoy the beautiful summer setting in Lincoln Park and mingle with chefs while enjoying market-inspired creations that highlight the best of the Midwest. Guests will find both vegetarian and meat dishes.
Green City Market builds a sustainable Chicago food system through vibrant farmers markets, hands-on edible education, and local food access. The Chef BBQ is Green City Market's largest annual fundraiser. All proceeds support Green City Market's year-round markets and community programs.
Chef BBQ VIP Experience: VIP attendees enjoy early admission at 4:30pm, reserved seating in the VIP area (the only seating at the event!), trays for carrying food, additional food and drinks by FIG Catering, private bar areas, wait staff, and premium restrooms. FAQs
Are there ID or minimum age requirements to enter the event?
Yes, all event guests will be asked for identification at the gate. Only guests that are 21+ will receive a wristband to grant them access to alocholic beverages. Guests under the age of 21 will be admitted but will not have access to alcoholic beverages.
What are my transportation/parking options for getting to and from the event?
The Chef BBQ is located in the heart of Lincoln Park. The event entrance is at the south end of Lincoln Park between Clark and Stockton Drive (approximately 1817 N. Clark). The following CTA Bus routes stop at the event: 22 Clark, 36 Broadway, 73 Armitage, 151 Sheridan. The nearest train stops are the Sedgwick Brown Line (walk East on North Avenue to North
