Kinzie St., today announced the opening of the restaurant's indoor dining room with reduced capacity is set for Friday, June 26, in accordance with state protocol. In addition to its existing takeout, delivery and outdoor patio offerings, Mercadito will seat guests indoors for walk-in service for lunch and advanced reservations for dinner Monday - Sunday between 12 - 10 p.m.
Highlighting the best of south-of-the-border taquerias and cantinas with local and seasonal ingredients, Mercadito will offer a limited menu of award-winning tacos, signature guacamoles, killer margaritas and more. It will include appetizers, salsas and entrees designed for sharing, with favorites like Brisket, Camaron, Carne, Al Pastor, Estilo Baja and Chicken Tacos, Guacamole, Ceviche, Queso Fundido and more, plus specialty cocktails, including Traditional Margarita, Little Market, Pepino El Pyu. The menu will expand to feature more items as the restaurant's capacity grows.
