Zacatacos

Description

The Zacatacos name originates from the state in northern Mexico called zacatecas. It simply means "to take out tacos." The first Zacatacos ever opened in November 1996 in the heart of the Westlawn community. It was one of the first taquerias in the formerly Polish-Lithuanian neighborhood. The concept was simple: AUTHENTIC CHAR-BROILED steak tacos from a family owned taqueria. Today our concept still stands: Authentic homemade taste made from scratch every day with quality ingredients. Since 1996 Zacatacos has expanded to 5 taquerias. Two near Chicago's Midway airport area, two in Berwyn and the newest location in Bridgeview. The Chicago Tribune rated the best tacos in town and chose Zacatacos in the top 5(2006). Zacatacos was featured on ABC7 Steve Dolinsky's "The Hungry Hound" (2008)
