About West Loop
The West Loop in Chicago is one of Chicago's younger neighborhoods. Although people have inhabited the area since the 1800's, it wasn't until late in the 20th century that the neighborhood began to take shape. Although there is not an abundance of shopping in West Loop Chicago, restaurants can be found all over the area. The neighborhood also known as The Loft District of Chicago is filled with condominiums & loft buildings. You will also find dozens of arts galleries in West Loop Chicago making West Loop an Art Gallery District. Some neighborhood bars give a bit of nightlife to West Loop but try checking out the Chicago Downtown Loop and Lincoln Park.
