The classic Chicago corner bar. We want to get back to the bar being the focus so we're keeping the drinks easy, quick, and delicious.
Chicago Tribune's Joseph Hernandez said it best: William Morris wallpaper spread throughout the dark, moody space. That wallpaper — a flourish of lilies and flowers on a dark field of blue — is a modern, feminine touch in an otherwise masculine, inviting den of warm-colored, polished woods, not least of which being the gleaming 40-foot mahogany bar. Milky-white pendant lights evoke the spot's name, but if you strip down space to its bones, you've got the makings of a Chicago classic: the corner bar.
