Beginning as the Compass Players in 1955 at the University of Chicago, this comedy troupe has produced some of the biggest names in the business. Bill Murray, John Belushi, Dan Aykroyd, Gilda Radner, Mike Myers, and Chris Farley all started here. The tradition of sketch comedy lives on under new management. Productions are better than ever and involve mixed media, running jokes, and theatrical undertones. A Chicago classic since 1959, it is an experience not to be missed.
