In 1869, the first waffle iron was patented. In 1893, the waffle was a huge hit at the Chicago World's Fair. The next great sensation in waffle history? When we opened our doors in 2011, right here in Chicago! Winner of the Eat Out award for Best New Breakfast Place by Time Out Chicago in April of 2012, you can bet that we know our way around a waffle.
