1142 W. Lawrence
Chicago, IL 60640 Uptown Chicago Rate and review

Currently running a site-specific production of the too-seldom produced "Cowboy Mouth" from June 3 - July 9. Staged by Slimtack Artistic Director Mike Rice, this production will be performed in an apartment in the heart of Chicago's Uptown neighborhood at the corner of Broadway & Lawrence. Written by Sam Shepard & Patti Smith in 1971, "Cowboy Mouth" is the combustible love story of Slim and Cavale. Among ruminations on art, fame and faith, these two damaged misfits play out fantasies and games attempting to find their place in the world, not knowing if that means they'll do it together or apart.
