Happy Fall! Is one of your goals to learn something new, have a relaxing hobby, and use your creative side?! Then this class of learning pointed pen modern calligraphy is for you! Bring a friend or come alone- all are welcome!

This is a beginner level class where you will learn the basics of Modern Calligraphy in a fun environment inside Smitten Boutique in the West Loop of Chicago- No experience necessary! You will learn the basics of pointed pen calligraphy using an oblique pen holder and metal nib with ink- Don't know what an oblique holder or nib is? You will by the end of class!

You will leave class having learned the basics of pointed pen calligraphy, how to correctly hold the pen and writing techniques, and be able to learn the drills to write letters and create your own modern style. We will end the class with a small project to admire your work!

This is a very educational class with small class sizes for one on one instruction and opportunites for questions.

All materials included to learn and take home all the supplies for continued practice!
