Chicago’s Hottest Rooftop Lounge, AIRE, Opens For The Summer Season

AIRE, one of Chicago’s hottest and most sensational rooftop decks, located at 100 W. Monroe on the 24th floor of Hyatt Centric The Loop Chicago, announced today it will open for the season on Tuesday, July 7. AIRE will continue to serve hand-crafted cocktails, seasonal, shareable plates, and local craft beers, making it the perfect spot for happy hour meals and group get-togethers.

“There’s nothing like summer in Chicago and we are excited to start the season off right for our guests,” said Karen McGuigan, Hyatt Centric The Loop Chicago General Manager. “This summer may look a little bit different, but we are thrilled to offer the same amazing views and experiences to our guests.”

While soaking up the views, guests may also enjoy the striking new 3,800 sq. ft. mural which AIRE debuted in the summer of 2019. The stunning blacklight mural encompasses the entire East, West, and South facing walls of AIRE, further enhancing Chicago’s already remarkable cityscape. Designed and created by Onur, an internationally acclaimed artist known in the street art scene for his futuristic and experimental painting techniques, and curated by Beauty & Brawn, this vintage inspired piece is meant to immerse viewers in a dream-like “vignette” thus evoking emotional and introspective feelings while drifting amongst the clouds.

With its central location, dramatic 360-degree view and contemporary décor, AIRE’s unmatched urban atmosphere is at the peak of summer downtown destinations. Guests escaping their busy days for an open-air hiatus or city visitors wanting to relax after a long day of exploring can unwind in luxury with friends over artisan drinks and small bites. Taking into account Chicago’s unpredictable weather, AIRE features open fireplaces for cool nights spent high above the city streets, and umbrellas for shade on sunny summer days. AIRE is also available for private events.
