Didn't get a chance to give before Christmas? Or just want to give a bit more? Well UCAN still make a difference to kids who need it most.
Join AF-Chicago for a 'last chance to give' holiday and New Year's social. Food and drinks will be available. We'll let you know about opportunities to join AF's exclusive membership program and take your feedback on what events you'd like to see in 2022. Most importantly, we are partnering with UCAN, one of Chicago's oldest and most impactful charitable non-profits, on a Gift Train for youth who have suffered trauma.
Founded over 150 years ago, UCAN has grown into a multifaceted social service organization serving over 21,000 youth and families each year. UCAN’s vision, youth who have suffered trauma can become our future leaders, is realized through their focus on compassionate healing, education and empowerment, which offers youth a sense of opportunity and hope for the future. UCAN believes that inspiring young people will help to break cycles of violence, abuse and neglect and help them become advocates for change in their communities.
UCAN's mission fits perfectly with the mission of America's Future and we're proud to be contributing. We ask that you bring new items only (no used gifts) in return for 50% off your ticket. Baby items (0-12 months, 1-2 years) are particularly needed.
