You can count on tasty fusion cuisine featuring plentiful libations at our open bar, appetizers, a taco bar, live music from the brilliant band Butter Chicken (think South Indian/baraat/New Orleans brass band mash-up), and our stellar silent auction where you can out-bid the competition to your heart’s content!
Every year, at Globalfest, we present awards to an organization or person who is advancing fair trade in and around Chicago. We are thrilled to announce that this year, we are awarding two prizes: Our Changemaker Award to Elizabeth L. Cline, and Our Trailblazer Award to MarketPlace: Handwork of India.
We are so excited to come together and honor the incredible work of Elizabeth Cline and MarketPlace to transform trade into a force of global good.
Now in its eighteenth year, Globalfest is a time for the whole fair trade community to come together and celebrate, and this year we have so much to celebrate! We hope you’ll join us to meet up with old friends and make brand-new connections among our fair trade community’s wonderful people!
