Annual family-friendly 5k race supporting patients of Comer Children's Hospital that takes place on University of Chicago's campus! Multiple options for younger participants such as Kids' Mile/Kids' Dash. Help us beat our previous year's goal of $315,000!
Event Details
The 2017 RBC Race for the Kids at Comer Children’s Hospital will be held on Sunday, October 15, 2017 at 9:00 a.m., on the University of Chicago campus in historic Hyde Park. This family-friendly event includes a 5K Run/Walk, Kids’ Dash, and Kids’ Mile, and is expected to attract more than 2,000 participants. Last year, our sponsors, donors, and race participants raised over $315,000—a goal that, with your support, we hope to exceed this year.
The RBC Race for the Kids at Comer Children's is a rain, snow, or shine event. No refunds will be granted.
Participants using jogging strollers must start in the rear of the race line for runner safety. Bicycles, skates, and other wheeled vehicles are prohibited.
5K Awards will be given to the top male and female overall winner, as well as to males and females in each of the following age groups:
Kids' Mile Awards will be given to the top male and female overall winner, as well as to males and females in each of the following age groups:
The top three male and female winners for each race will be based on gun time, and all following participants will be determined via chip timing.
