Come for a taste of authentic Senegalese cuisine—straight from one of Dakar’s best restaurants to Chicago! Recently, 4 brothers and sisters from Senegal reunited around a Chicago dinner table and reminisced about the delicious food prepared in their family restaurant back home. Now they want to bring to you that special spirit of hospitality that the Senegalese call “teranga”.
On Saturday evening, November 16, they will share with you the flavors and spices of the food they grew up with in Dakar. The meal will include “Yassa” — a uniquely grilled chicken with a special onion sauce — as well as bissap (hibiscus) and ginger juices, among other accompanying dishes.
Seating is limited to 50 so get your tickets ASAP. $30 cover, BYOB. Saturday, November 16, 7-10 pm
