Small Business Saturday Scavenger Hunt
Event Details
Join us for our first ever Small Business Saturday Scavenger Hunt on Saturday, November 30th from 11am-3pm!
Check-in begins promptly at 11am at Ellie Thompson + Co. located at 2139 W Roscoe Street.
HERE'S HOW IT WORKS:
1. Register online @ rvchamber.org or on our Facebook page. We encourage you to create teams of 1-4 people, but this scavenger hunt can also be done individually.
2. Stop in to Ellie Thompson + Co. at 11am on Saturday, November 30th to pick up your scavenger hunt sheet and Roscoe Village/Small Business Saturday swag!
3. Start answering the questions/completing the challenges listed on your scavenger sheet. Most of the questions are fill in the blank style, but some may require you to take a picture of something or you may need to get your scavenger sheet stickered by an employee, so please be mindful of this as you move from stop to stop. Each question/challenge on the sheet is worth a certain amount of points, which can then be redeemed for raffle tickets when you end your journey back at Ellie Thompson + Co.
4. Enjoy yourself as you stroll the streets heading from one business to another. Most of the participating locations will have a special deal or promotion going to entice you to shop 'til you drop! YOU CAN ALSO EARN EXTRA RAFFLE TICKETS BY SPENDING $40 or more at any Roscoe Village based business during the scavenger hunt. All you need to do is show your receipt when you finish.
5. Share on social media! We encourage you to snap pics and tag us on Facebook and Instagram using the hashtags #weareroscoevillage, #shopsmall and #smallbizsaturday. We will also be sharing clues to the questions during the month of November, so make sure to engage our social media channels to stay ahead of the game.
6. Once you have completed your sheet, or gone as far as you would like to go (again, you can skips questions/challenges), return to Ellie Thompson + Co. to submit your scavenger sheets. After reviewing your answers to each question/challenge, we will reward you with raffle tickets to be entered to win raffle prizes. The raffle drawing will take place at 4pm. Please keep in mind that you do not have to be present to win raffle prizes. We will contact you to pick up your prize
